Jesse Draxler

Jesse Draxler is a versatile artist skilled in mixed media and multidisciplinary techniques. His creations seamlessly merge painting, photography, collage, typography, and digital artistry. Distinctive elements of his work include the distortion of the human form, a dedication to grayscale palettes, and evocative abstract landscapes.

Before commencing a piece, Draxler delve deep into writing and journaling, holding the belief that "ideas take root in contemplation and mental processing."

Drawing inspiration from a diverse range of sources — from heavy metal and electronic music to Zen literature, automotive mechanics, ambient noise, and cinema — Draxler often explains that his work is about "translating auditory experiences into visual representations."

In January 2015 he embraced a pivotal artistic change: abandoning color to exclusively work in black and white. Being colorblind, Draxler views this transition as a "natural evolution," one that has expanded, rather than constrained, his artistic horizons.
